Avios or evoucher as comp which is a better deal

Hello

Had some issues on a CW redemption flight HKG-LHR , travelling with hubby (who also had some issues)

Complained to BA , they have offered 60k avois or a £350 evoucher , which would u take ? Do the points have more value

I’d say Avios. Usual conservative estimate of 1p/Avios that’s £600. Of course could be devalued right away. Are you planning on travelling / booking soon?

Even based on 1p a point the avios is worth more, but when you can get 4-5p per point on redemptions they could be 10x more valuable than the eVoucher.

+1 for avios.
You can make great value for money redemptions to J or F classes not just with BA, but pretty much to all these airlines using avios.
IB is the sweetspot for latin America travelling, despite the fact that last week devalued avios.

The voucher I have can only be used against cash tickets or BA holidays. Your can’t use it towards Avios bookings, seat selection etc.

If you don’t usually book cash flights I’d go for the Avios.
