Avios points on a TUI package holiday

Just wanted to share ….I booked a TUI package holiday… but being avios obsessed I wondered if I could get any avios points .. obviously it’s not listed on British airways shopping portal so Google was my friend..and a search showed up a possible route

Found an option to book via a shopping link via aerclub … I think are are lingus Ireland … And got 4 avios points per pound …. So for my booking that’s over 12000 points ….so even if it’s not obvious how you can get avios don’t assume you can not …😁

These points have tracked in my aerclub account which is linked back to my avios account … So just need to wait for the process but looking good …

Also then booked insurance and airport parking for another almost 2000 additional points … So now getting near my target for flight upgrades for a long haul trip next year 😁 😁 😁 😀 😀

Good call! I hadn’t considered using the shopping portal on Aerclub!

When I booked my TUI holiday last year I use Topcashback… a measly 1% at the time (though right now they have 4% listed, so that’s comparable to the 4 Avios and maybe better if you value cash more highly).

Or Nectar – but 4/£1 so less when converted to Avios.
