Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Avios required per zone 2023

Have the amount of avios required per destination/zone gone up for 2023? If so is there a new table? I just tried to book a reward flight to Hong Kong for early 2023 where there was actually availability and I thought we had enough in our household account, plus the use of our companion voucher. I thought Hong Kong off peak was 150,000 return but the BA system said I needed 330,00 return for two. Also, I couldn’t see anywhere to put my voucher code in, it just said I didn’t have enough avios. I am so frustrated!! Can anyone help, please??

You need to tick using your 241 at the beginning of the search. Are you flying on BA metal?

The price you are quoting – 165,000 Avios per person return is one way peak (90k) and one way off peak (75k). The number of Avios required hasn’t changed but the peak/off peak dates may be different in 2023. As above, you need to tick the companion voucher box at the very beginning.

The one way peak, one way off peak calculation is really helpful, thanks. I thought it said off—peak both ways but I will double check

However, I still can’t see anywhere on the ‘book with avios’ front page or at any point in the search that mentions the companion voucher! Where is it exactly?

Do you have the 241 in your account or is it tied up in an FTV? If in an FTV then you will not see it on the screen and need to phone to apply it to a booking.
