Hi all – I currently have a return from Singapore booked in Aug 23 for my family of four – we are on a single PNR as I booked over the phone using 2 x 241 vouchers. Going out in CW and returning Economy.
Ideally I would like to delay the return by a day but need 4 x Avios economy seats to become available for the required date. The date I want to return is also an off-peak date.
The agent I spoke to when I made the booking said that seats get released through the year and nearer the date so was confident that I’d be able to rebook … but wondering on how this plays out in reality. Currently seeing 6 economy seats for many dates but only 1 available for my preferred return date. I’m trying to plan a schedule and book some hotels accordingly hence the question.
Appreciate your thoughts, experiences.
Even if there is a chance it is unpredictable. You could set up an alert on something like seatspy or expertflyer but by the time any availability appears it might be too late to change everything else.
