I have ended up with about £500 credit balance on my BAPP card. I think this is because I paid off the balance in between my DD leaving my bank account and being credited to my Amex.
Anyway as I use the card now I am chipping away at the balance. Will I still get avios points for this spend? And will it contribute to my 10k spend for companion voucher?

You will get avios for the spend, but these will obviously just replace what you lost via the refund. Your tracker (if you can see it) will show you how far you are towards the voucher spend, but I have a feeling you’ll have to spend the £500 again to start earning towards it.
IME Amex adjusts the dd if you overpay – have you got it set up to pay the full statement balance instead of just what’s outstanding?

There is no refund she said she paid them twice, directly and by DD.
