Hi all. I have an upcoming booking for a week that should seem me collecting the vehicle at 12pm and dropping off at 1.30pm the following week. This means I am paying for 8 days in my booking. I wondered if Avis in fact give some grace to presidents club members if, for example, I booked midday to midday and dropped off 1.5 hrs late. This would save a decent chunk on the booking, but obviously I don’t want to risk a fine. Thanks for any advice!
Not heard of this with avis, but such a benefit is where the Hertz Amex Platinum CDP comes in to it’s own. (Book it with the hours you want using 633306 and it will only charge an extra day if you enter drop off times over 4hrs later than the collection)

I didn’t know about this CDP, but with Hertz I have turned up as early as 2 hours before the booked start time and returned 30 minutes late and nobody has ever said I’m too early to pick up or charged a late fee. Don’t know how this would go with Avis as never used them.
