Avois for stays at Marriott

Hi
I’ve found a Marriott hotel that we would like to stay at for a last minute booking in October -I’m a member of Marriott Bonvoy but don’t have any rewards points or stays – we have a lot of avois – is it possible to use them against a stay? I have BA amex premium but not a Marriott credit card.

We want a holiday in October but we’ve done a lot of travel this year so trying to reduce the cost.

Is another option going BA holiday and reducing the cost of that using avois as part payment?

Any ideas or suggestions?

If the hotel is one you can book via BA you can usually use avios to pay or in part payment (or it used to be the case, anyway). You don’t always get good value from paying this way so you need to weigh up what value you assign to your avios.
You can also use avios to part pay for a BA holiday but again I’m not sure this is a good deal.
