Well I didn’t expect this.
Got back from a BA Holiday yesterday. The 1 Avios per £ posted today, but I also got c. 2500 Avios from Avis. Now Avis the app was showing a $600 or so value on the booking when I picked the car up so it looks like I’ve been awarded 5 Avios/£ for that as well (I bought a full tank of petrol from them too, which was a further £75 or so and probably explains the difference).
Often when you include a car in a BAH booking it includes “bonus avios” in the information section, but it’s quite easy to miss.
