Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club BA 2-4-1 reward flights at midnight

  • 7 posts

Hi Apologies if this has been asked but Icouldn’t find answer. Trying to book reward flights to Japan (along with lots of others its seems) have got as far as payment several times but never actually complete transaction. One of the previous posts mentioned prepopulating passengers & credit card details but I can’t see how I do that. Any info gratefully received. Thanks

Anyone in your Household Account or Friends & Family list is available when booking via a dropdown menu which pre-populates all of their personal details.

If you’ve booked via ba.com before you can opt to store your credit card number so you don’t need to type that in, only the security code.

(Of course, anyone who did that before the 2018 data hack got well and truly stuffed.)

    That was probably me.

You can set up your card details in advance by going into My Executive Club and then Saved Payment Cards under Manage My Account. You may want to delete them again after you’ve made your booking 🙂

If you want to take it further you can also experiment with the use of a browser plug-in to prepopulate other fields. You can do a dry run before-hand for an earlier date, to test it and for practice, so long as you don’t hit the final submit button of course!

If you are really keen try calling the US call centre number about 10 mins to midnight, if you get thru you have a higher chance because they reserve the ticket as soon as they “grab” them even before the booking is completed. That’s why you might struggle to book them yourself (not just because others have faster fingers….)
