Is it better to pay for your Marriott hotel bill with the BA premium Amex and earn Airmiles or pay with your Bonvoy Amex and earn double Bonvoy points?

Depends which points currency you are collecting to later redeem. The valuations of points earned per pound spent versus redemption value aren’t worth splitting hairs over if you’re focused on one over the other

Blair Waldorf Salad is right – there are some fundamental questions only you can answer, like do you have a sign up bonus spend threshold to reach, and will you build up enough of a balance of either for a redemption. Assuming you will though, as you presumably have both cards, the winner is Bonvoy. The accepted value of an Avios here is 1p and a Bonvoy point is 0.5p. You get 1.5p of Avios for each £1 with the BA card and 3p of Bonvoy points for £1 for the Bonvoy card
