    Been trying to access my booking to amended seats etc but cannot access via the BA App since recent update. Tried deleting and reinstalling etc but just keeps referring to home page every time. Wondered if anyone else had the same issue?

    I’ve been having the same issue, on the app and website but only with one of my three future bookings. Tried the chat function yesterday and their response was that it is a technical issue impacting some reservations, which I took to be tech speak for “we’ve got no idea what the problem is”

    I also had this issue yesterday – I wanted to cancel a booking but manage my booking wouldn’t load. I tried repeatedly on different browsers and using both my phone and laptop. I gave up and tried again a few hours later and it worked so maybe just keep giving it whenever you get a chance?

    Well yes, indeed. The very fact you report a technical problem would place it neatly in the ‘technical problem’ category. You’d have thought they’d get it sorted seeing as it’s been a week or so now. At least it’s not isolated to the App having tried Laptop etc. good job it’s not urgent…..I’d hate to hold the queue up for half an hour on their phone lines with my additional call!

    For me, this problem has now lasted 12 days. I only noticed because BA sent me an email with an offer to upgrade.

    BA Chat conversation confirmed the issue is known and is being worked on by IT…..apparently!

    I have also been having the same problem, when I click on Manage My Booking, I was trying to look at available upgrades for a return flight. I have 9 bookings, and there is only one issue my Miami flight for beg of July, same message on computers and various phones – 500 Internal Error. When I contacted them through X they had raised the issue with IT but that doesn’t help me when I want to look at my options, this has been a problem for the last 3 days. Will probably end up having to call them, which will be a painful process and will need to psyche myself up for this…

    Update: Problem continues. Chat conversation from BA suggests this is a global system connectivity issue and they have no fix or update. In the meantime I still can’t access, update or amend my booking on any platform despite the booking showing in my account. Just takes me back to Homepage.

    One wonders for how long! Thankfully the booking is for late Aug but if I wanted to add Pax info or update seating it just can’t be done online.

    Anyone else still having this problem? If so what happened?

    I found using the manage my booking link in confirmation email worked for gaining access to booking and making changes.

    Nope, that didn’t work either. I even asked them if it was my booking specifically that had an issue but they said not.

    I have been having this problem for like forever. I can’t even see/download my boarding pass.

    So, I normally checkin on their website and download the boarding pass manually.

    I can’t even do that. I can see the booking, just can’t do anything with it….cant amend seats, can’t add pax info, can’t change flight…..nothing, on any platform. Madness.

    Yep, all of that, and same on 4 different devices. Just tried again and can now see the booking (August) but despite previously being able to change seats etc (Club World – paid seat allocation), it now says I can’t do it online and have to ring them! I knew their systems were poor having used them for many years, but this is beyond poor.

    Yesterday – I was unable to get MMB working in app or on multiple browsers for my next booking in the middle of June. Any attempt to do MMB for that booking just took me to the BA homepage. Bookings later in the year worked fine for MMB.
    Tried again this morning and MMB now working for my June booking, so seems to be related to specific bookings rather than device or local cookies.

    Now, when I go into MMB seat selection it says –
    “It’s not possible to make changes to your booking online. To do this, please call us on 0344 493 0787 and select Option 1.”
    Is this something else wrong with MMB, or is there something up with my booking?

    Yes, that’s exactly why I’ve got to today……..progress…….so it would seem……but not much!

    Exactly the same here. I can’t do online check in on the app, can see any details on MMB in the app, can’t download boarding pass, can’t view boarding pass.

    The app, for me is to a quick check my points, and a list of my bookings. That’s it.

    So, I normally use my phone’s web browser, go to ba.com and complete everything on their website via my phone.
