Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club BA Bangkok > London April 2026

Looking for any insights from the many experts on here – apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

We are planning our first adventurous holiday with two young kids (currently 2 and 5) for Easter 2026 in SE Asia. I had two 2-4-1 vouchers and have managed to get return business flights to Singapore as a base for some wider travels over two weeks after some 1am rapid bookings online!

We were hoping to route back via Bangkok, but the current BA schedule of direct flights seems to end on Sunday 29th March 2026.

Does anyone know what the chances are of flights being added at a later date for April 2026, and if so when that might happen? If they do I will see if I can find some alternative seats when the flights launch.

    Thanks so much!

If you have return flights to SIN, could you not just connect from BKK? (But well done on securing those!)

However, I think BKK is currently seasonal (hence ending on 29/3), and also from LGW, which might complicate your travel plans.

Thanks for the reply! I’m aiming to limit flight logistics with the little ones…the youngest in particular does not like sitting still. Returning to LGW wouldn’t be an issue as we will cab to/from the airport, but good to hear the BKK route is seasonal.

Short of regularly checking the BA website, is there a good way to get a notification if BA do add BKK routes for April next year?

If BA add a new route, it should come with Avios availability immediately. You could set an alert with seats.aero or a similar service for a date that currently isn’t served, and see if it fires an email/SMS at you, but I think that requires a paid-for subscription.
