When does BA check in open for a delayed flight?

If a BA flight at an EU outstation is already delayed several hours before departure, when does check-in open? 2 hours before original schedule or updated one?

Unless specifically told otherwise – via BA text / email / MMB message – then you need to check in based on the original departure time.
