BA Club Avios from a Qatar booked flight

Hi, I flew a couple of months ago to Male via Doha with Qatar. Booked with Qatar but provided my BA Club frequent flyer number. The two outbound flights were business class. The two return flights were economy class. Was a cash fare. At some point, I was offered a promotional upgrade for each of the return flights separately, which I purchased using a combination of Avios and cash.

In my BA statement, the outbound flights have earned nTPs but the return flights show as ineligible.

Is this the correct treatment given the economy fare was a cash booking?
