BA Data Breach? Cancelled flight

My BA flight a few weeks ago was cancelled. Not long after I got a text with a link to claim compensation from AirComp.

Looking online this is not a coincidence; there seems to be a data breach here.

I have claimed compensation directly with BA but am a little freaked out someone now has my number and this has resulted in more random spam / scam calls.

Has anyone approached BA about this?

It’s been mentioned several times on this forum over the years. BA will just deny it.
