BA direct BKK flights not showing on Avios

Hi all,

Not sure if I’m missing something here. I’m trying to book CW Avios flights to Bangkok for 29 December 2025 and will call up at midnight to try and secure these. However, if I look at the BA website for Avios flights for 22nd and 27th December (both as examples), it says “Sorry, there are no direct flights available. Flights with connections are shown below”.

However, there are direct flights available when you search for cash. I’ve never seen this before. If a flight is sold out for Avios, I thought it still appears but just shows zero seats. Am I missing something or are BA not making the direct flights available for Avios?

Okay ignore me, realise this just means that all Avios availability has gone already

BTW a new series of the popular TV drama The White Lotus starts 17th February, this one is set in Thailand and may cause an increase in demand for trips to Thailand.
