Do we know if it is possible to empty out the wife’s Avios account by setting up a BA HHA and transferring her points and mine to my ALL account?
Many thanks in advance!Not directly but I think you could do it via Iberia or Qatar but at the risk of losing a great deal of their value
There is an easier way of achieving this.
WAit until your next BA redemption is needed, for a total higher than your wifes balance.
Move enough of YOUR Avios to an Iberia / Qatar / Finnair account so that the remaining balance plus your wifes full balance is what you need.
Do your redemption, it wipes your wifes balance, and you can then transfer back your remaining balance.
If you don’t have a flight booking coming up, booking a hotel via BA will get you better value than moving to Accor.
