… unless / until BA learns how to post the points the rules seem largely immaterial.
Until they decide to enforce them on 31st March and your £19,999 spend for Gold only gets you Silver.
Has anyone actually had any BAH nTPs post yet? I’d like to believe that they’ll manage eventually, but unless / until BA learns how to post the points the rules seem largely immaterial.
BAH generally managed the double TPs and BA managed the year end TP transition well, as well as the move to revenue based Avios earning, so there is no reason to expect they can’t manage to post TPs for holidays on the new basis. Whether people’s bookings actually constitute a BAH or comply with the new rules is a slightly different issue than the posting of points.
All true. Double TPs worked perfectly for me last year.
I have 3 BAH’s booked this year, for price and convenience, not TPs. They are all different permutations (e.g. 1/2 person, flight plus car, hotel plus car, etc) so it’ll be interesting to see what posts, just for the data points.
*I’m pretty sure the hotel booking has both of us named on it so there shouldn’t be any awkwardness!

So far all I’ve had posted in respect of flights booked in 2025 (and traveled after 1st April) is the Avios, BAH bonus Avios, bonus nTPs (the cabin-based bonus per flight) and absolutely no nTPs based on spend, regardless of whether that’s the gross BAH price or the price net of taxes (etc). I’m probably sure they’ll be posted eventually, but the delay is pretty pathetic.
