I am about to make a BA Holidays booking (binned Monaco off given the advice here, off elsewhere instead). If I book WT with cash, can I use Avios to upgrade to WTP and then my Avios Plus upgrade voucher to get to Club?

Answered my own question there, I suppose. I was hoping that the WTP upgrade would be seen as a reward flight. Wishful thinking.
@AL – have you considered using your upgrade voucher for a separate flight and booking the BA holiday for the other passengers? This would work even if there was only 1 other person travelling. I do this sort of thing regularly, e.g. for our recent GCM trip OH and son flew on a the BAPP 241 and I booked a BA holiday for myself. There was only one hotel night involved so I just picked a room that would accommodate 3 of us when it came to that option.
