Hello,
I’ve just booked my flight to work for one of the weeks in October and everything looked normal, i.e it shows as departing from T3.
However, when I went to book my car parking it would only allow me to book T2. Which I thought was strange since the flight is showing as T3. Now I know at some point this year BA is moving to T2 but there’s been no official confirmation on when that date is yet, so I decided to do a process of elimination by selecting different dates to see which dates it will continue to allow me to book car parking at T3 for a BA flight.
See the video below, if I select the departure date as 6th October and enter a BA flight number then it auto selects T3. But if I select 7th October onwards, then it auto selects T2.
So does this potentially mean that from 7th October BA will officially be flying out of T2 @ Manchester Airport?

Nobody seems to know for certain quite when, or even if it’s happening. MAG apparently haven’t yet come up with a solution to the problem of keeping international and domestic arrivals separate! There’s a long thread on FT with some anecdotal information:
I’ve also seen a couple of odd results with parking searches, but I don’t think it’s to do with the move, more likely capacity issues or further planned works.
I would agree with things like capacity issues or further planned works, but the fact that no matter what date I select after the 6th October (including 2026 dates) it always auto selects T2. It’s making me think that potentially 7th October is the date of the move.
I fly quite frequently from Manchester to Heathrow and even when I need to book a flight for the same week, I’m able to book T3 parking.
