BA reinstates Bahrain flights?

Interestingly, per Aeroroutes, it appears from their latest schedule update that BA is maintaining their Bahrain flights rather than cancelling them…
Must have decided that the revenue hit was not worth the hit to discontinue the flights, although it’s now cut to 3x weekly from daily.
London Heathrow – Bahrain eff 30MAR25 Service maintained, revised from 1 daily 777-200ER to 3 weekly 787-8
BA125 LHR2230 – 0705+1BAH 788 247
BA124 BAH0900 – 1355LHR 788 135
I imagine that they’ve had some subsidies from Bahrain to keep it going or maybe some good news from Rolls Royce but I’m not sure.
Quoting an article in yesterday’s Times business section:
If the strength of Bahrain’s professed special relationship with Britain was in any doubt, just a fortnight after British Airways sparked a diplomatic incident by announcing plans to scrap flights to the island kingdom next year, the decision has been reversed after representations at “the highest levels”
Was quite silly of BA to cancel the Bahrain route the day the Bahrani King was visiting the UK and meeting King Charles. BA is the last European carrier that flies to bahrain after KLM and Lufhtansa cancelled their routes so it was a big deal over there
