BA Rewards app

Good Morning All,

OVer the last couple of months I have been having difficulties accessing the BAEC Rewards App on my Andriod phone. I am running Andriod 12 and v4.1.6 of the App. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but it won’t advance beyond the initial blue opening screen with the BAEC logo a version #.

Has anybody else experienced this, and if so were they able to fix the problem?

I’ve sometimes had this problem on iOS when overseas / airplane mode when the app can’t get a location fix.

This still seems an under reported way to earn Avios – especially now with the card linking so that once your cards are registered, you get Avios automatically from merchants given your card spend without having to click special links or remember to quote your exec card number each time. Seems like a no brainier to me but I guess there’s no referral income in promoting via HfP.

Horrible buggy app. Now that the prepaid card is cancelled, that reminds me I was going to delete it…

I have Android, and I find that the app has problems depending on when you are trying to use it via WiFi. I find switching off WiFi, and just using my phone data connection works better. Also, the app gets confused if you enable VPN.

Great haptics though.
