Any thoughts on BA new sale fares ?
A Vegas flight I had on my tracking has come down by £50. woo.
Holiday in NYC I priced up last week for next January has come down by approx £500. From just under £3k to just under £ 2.5k.
Similar price ex LHR and ex NCL.
Also some savings ex EU as well of similar quantum.
I was in the process of trying to find reasonably priced flights for one of the summer rugby matches in Edinburgh during August when the sale was announced – so I was able to do a pretty detailed comparison of before and after.
The great majority of prices labelled as being in the sale were nothing of the sort – there were exactly the same as before the sale.
In amongst the unchanged and hence still absurd prices, I did manage to fine one minor gem – a flight on club from LGW for £75, albeit to GLA rather than EDI. Still as they same in some supermarkets, every little helps …
