Discuss today's stories:
My wife and I were due to fly out next week on a flight to Vienna from Heathrow on BA. Unfortunately my wife is not well enough to travel so I cancelled today on ba.com. I’m trying to figure out the refund amount so I can submit an insurance claim for the cancelled trip.
I don’t expect to get anything back from the base fare but the taxes and fees for the flights were £224 and was expecting to get that back less some service charge. I didn’t get a refund calculation on the website when I cancelled so I contacted BA customer service twice and got two different replies from £56 refund to ‘not sure’. Can anyone help? I didn’t think it was that difficult.
I’ve moved this to the ‘Flight changes and Cancellations Help’
You haven’t moved it anywhere just done a duplicate post.
I posted an answer on the duplicate post under Flight changes and Cancellations Help. Hope that helps!
