British Airways Terminal 5 check in counters opening time

BA’s website says baggage desks open at 5.30am.
Is this the case indeed? Even for my 7am Athens flight, for which I intended to show up super-Covid-early?

Pretty sure it’s 5.00, not 5.30.

No need to show up any earlier than that, I’d say.

BA website says 5.00 – in the bag drop section. Not sure where eyou are getting 5.30 from

Sorry – does say 5am and not 5.30 – my bad.
I was still intending to arrive super early (arrive at T5 4am for 7am departure) but obviously no point in doing so if baggage drop desks are closed till 5!

if your logistics allow you to use twilight checkin the evening before, which your flight timing should qualify you for, it would be an easy stroll through security at that ungodly hour when you arrive for your flight
