Hello,
Sorry new to Tier Points and Avios here and just wanted to check something.
I’ve booked a AA flight, having inputted my BA frequent flyer membership number for points to be credited to, which costs as follows
Base Fare £4,557
Taxes and Fees £404
Carrier-imposed fees £900
Total flight cost £5,861
Am I right in saying I should expect 4961 BA tier points from these flights? (Total minus taxes)
Thanks
No, I don’t think that’s correct. You won’t earn TP on the £404 taxes and fees. You should earn them on the £900 carrier imposed fee. I would expect hope for 5457 for that booking, but not be too surprised if it was a different number.
