Forums Frequent flyer programs Other frequent flyer schemes BA TPs on flights booked through Finnair

Apologies if this has already been raised but I’m flying London-Darwin on Qantas, via Singapore, and returning Perth-Doha-Helsinki-London on Qatar and then Finnair. I booked the flight via Finnair in December. I’m a BA Silver member and currently have 3,000 TPs under the new scheme. All the flights are in business.

My question is, as the London-Darwin flights on Qantas aren’t BA codeshare and I booked via Finnair, would I get any BA TPs for them? I’ve put my BA number into Finnair.

On the return, I believe the Perth-Doha is a codeshare and I can access it via my BA app, but Doha-Helsinki and Helsinki-London isn’t.

So is it likely that the only TPs I might get are for the Perth-Doha leg, and then only a percentage of what I could have got if I’d booked through BA? I’m trying to work out if I can hang onto silver.

Many thanks in advance to anybody who can help!
