New offer of 500 bonus Avios when booking an Uber in advance. I’ve posted the full offer/terms below.
Has anyone used this service? I tried a dummy booking in numerous UK locations and repeatedly got “Uber Reserve is not available in your area”, then found one but the price for a trip reserved in advance was £30, compared with £15 for immediately, or more like <£10 based on the same trip previously. Seems a huge rip-off to book in advance based on this test!

Offer is valid for rides taken in mainland UK – including Northern Ireland only.
Only one Uber account can be linked to an Executive Club account and the holder of each account must be the same person.
Standard Avios earn rate is 1 Avios per £1 of qualifying spend for rides booked and completed via the Uber app.
Avios are issued to eligible participants subject to acceptance and compliance with the Avios scheme terms and conditions.
Only selected Uber Ride products will be eligible for the Avios award. Eligible Uber Ride categories are UberX, UberXL, Uber Assist, Uber Access, Uber Comfort, Uber Exec, Uber Lux, Uber Reserve, Uber Pet, Uber Green, Local Cab, Coach, Rail, Eurostar, Lime e-bike & e-scooters and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.

Uber Reserve means the driver arrives 15 mins before your booked time to guarantee punctuality. However, you pay for that 15 minutes via the surcharge!
