BA vs Cathay vs Lufthansa

Hi everyone! Looking for views on BA vs Cathay vs Lufthansa business class product for travel to SEA. I believe BA is the 787 plane on my route. Is Cathay/Lufthansa significantly better to forego the superior Avios earnings on BA?

Best seat will be Cathay if the BA option is a 787 that hasn’t been refitted yet
Lufthansa is likely a bad seat and you have the connection – OK at MUC, often lousy at FRA

And is there a proper understanding of earnings on OW partners post April 1 yet?

Cathays, better service than Ba better than Lufthansa (assuming not old BA)

However Lufthansa has one very big advantage, it offers changeable or refundable (minus appprox £250 charge) at much lower prices than BA. The cheapest Lufthansa longhaul business similar to BA , but in Lufthansa can get flexibility and 85% refundable for a 300 or 400 premium . Refundable on BA costs a fortune.
