Bahrain has long been our go to destination in the Middle East – for 24 years according to our passports. Whilst the RC hotel in Seef district of Manama is the best hotel by a good margin, the new airport is simply AMAZING!!!! Its fresh, clean, quiet and EFFICIENT!! No liquids out or laptops out. Bung your bag and jacket in a tray and the belt feeds through an AI scanner that chucks it out if it sees that the owner looks a bit shifty!! No arguing with chubby “security” females at MCR, you are through and into a world class lounge that Willy Walsh would have thought belonged to Willie Wonka!!
Its amazing and an airport that the goons at T3 and LGW need to come to to see how its done……..now time for a glass of fizz!!You were doing quite well until you started off with the demeaning comment about security staff.
