Hi everyone,
Back story of this is that for the last 2 years I’ve had BAPP card hitting £10k spend consistently both years, however, due to change in circumstances I have decided to downgrade this time round as I don’t foresee spending nearly as much moving forward and my renewal for BAPP is 1st of September. Having hit £10k spend on 23rd of July my voucher for this year has already posted. However, I requested to downgrade last night and now that the downgrade to the free BA amex card has taken place, I can see that my spend target says ‘Spend £378 to reach £12000 before 23rd of March 2023 to get your voucher’. I am a little concerned they will claw back my BAPP voucher or whether this is just a technical glitch?
Keen to hear thoughts from people who might have faced a similar situation.
Thank you
No, it’s just Amex IT, ignore it. They won’t take back your voucher (and you can’t earn another one in your card year, despite what the counter suggests).

That is good to know! Thank you. I’d much rather BAPP voucher anyways 🙂
