BAPP downgrade but Avios points still to be transferred

Hi all,

I have achieved the required spend to get the CV, and planning to downgrade to the free BA Amex, but I see on my activity summary I still have about 5000 points that need to be transferred. If I downgrade, will I lose these points, or will they be valued at the free BA amex rate (i.e. 1x per £ rather than 1.5x per £?) or will they still transfer 5000 points at the end of the month.

You should keep them, effectively you have the same account, just with a different card.
