A couple of questions if anyone can help please. If I upgrade to the paid Avios card do I have to wait for tge new card to arrive before I start earning 1.5 points to the pound and secondly can you downgrade again when you want and with ease? I am thinking of triggering the £3000/5000 points spend the downgrading
Thanks in advanceYou have to have the offer to up/downgrade on your account and it can take several months to appear – Barclays can’t do it manually, it seems.
Upgraded card benefits, and £20 fee, start from the next statement date. They’ll quote you the date once you’ve been approved.
I have the uprade card and offer on my Barclaycard app I was just unsure if it was immediate. I called Customer services……hence I am asking here
