So applied for the card at the end of May to get the enhanced join up bonus of 50 when spending 3k in 3 months
So to date even though I have spent 4K I’ve not accumulated any points (even pending) also the spend tracker for the welcome bonus and also annual bonus is still showing 0 I’ve had a statement
Is this normal Will I get the points for spending and also the welcome bonus
Called CS they said can be 8 weeks to show points
Is there something wrong with my account
Also which is very strange when I clicked on the £20 monthly fee , it says TRANSREF DEFAULT AMEX
Why is the payment going to Amex or even has there name mention ? Again is this normal
Barclaycards old “premium” card used to be a dual Visa/Amex system (2 cashback cards on one account, 0.5% Visa, 1% Amex).
Annual fees / cashback have been posting as Amex type transactions for years despite not being such…
You should be earning Avios (viewed as pending) as soon as they post though (sent over on 2nd working day of the next month). It will probably correct itself by the time it should send across but if it doesn’t file a formal complaint.
Hello
I’m in the same boat as you . Spent 3K no sign of any points either for all transactions and the welcome bonus , both trackers are also at zero
Plus I have the Amex message under the Monthly fee
I’ve called customer services a few time they don’t really get what I’m saying and say to wait 8 weeks too … the problem is not 1 transaction has earned any points and also like you, I have no pending points too
Not sure what to do or who to escalate too
My recent statement has no mention of any avios earned , as I’ve not held this card before I’m not sure if that’s standard or not
No body at BC seems to be able to help about the issues above , what’s my next steps ?

Like HSBC, Barclaycard doesn’t shows rewards/Avios on the statement. You can see them in the app for each individual transaction and as a total pending transfer which, as stated above, will transfer to your BAEC around the second working day of the month for all Avios earned in the previous month.
Thanks JDB however on my app after spending 4K my earning avios is 0 , pending 0 , spending tracker towards welcome bonus and also yearly bonus 0 , this was before statement issued and also after
Understand they transfer over however according to the App there is 0 to transfer over , CS are not helping they say wait 8 weeks , I don’t think that’s correct
Good morning
Having same issues have recieved 25000 bonus avois for sign up plus 5100 avois for puchase of £3400 to achieve spend threshold within 3 months of opening to gain additional 25000 avois
These points still not showing have spoken to Barcley card advised it may take 3 months to show at present have spent £60.00 in monthly fees so still slightly a head on costs
Maybe they are delaying as many costomers will cancel once they have bonus avois ?
Will wait until August if still no show of bonus will cancel before any more monthly fees
Thanks
