Just received an email saying balance transfers now earn Avios.
Given the earning rate of 1 or 1.5 Avios per £ (regular and premium card respectively) then this doesn’t even come close to offsetting their 4% transfer fee.

My offer is a 4% fee on balance transfers, 4.5% on money transfers. The 0% interest until March 2027 would more than cover the fee, earning Avios is just the icing on the cake.
It is a significant change, but still not of interest to me either way as the downside is limiting future spend and therefore day to day Avios earnings.
