Just applied for the Barclaycard Avios Plus card (as been more than 2 years since I last held).
Trying to activate it in the app and it says the phone number is already registered on another device (obviously a previous device when I held the card last time).
Is this a quick thing to sort out over the phone?
I had very bad experiences with the app (as compared to Amex) last time round and it’s already getting to the point where i wish I hadn’t bothered applying.
25,000 bonus avios really worth all this hassle??
Amex is seamless in comparison.I’m still waiting to hear back about my application having also waited the 2 years since last held – 2 weeks counting and was just told to wait a bit longer- it is with the applications team !!
(obviously a previous device when I held the card last time).
