Barclays Premier debit card 1% cashback: HMRC?

As above, anyone know if the 1% Barclays premier debit card cashback works with HMRC? The terms do not specifically forbid it…

Isn’t the cashback limited to £5 per month? I suspect it would work with HMRC but it’s not worth writing home about.

I believe Curve Metal (£3k payment limit per month) is the best for paying HMRC at the moment. You should get £30-45 worth of points, albeit with a £17.99 per month fee

Unlike credit cards, there is no risk of ending up with a cash advance fee and also no fee at the HMRC, you should just give it a go.

I used mine to pay HMRC last week. I got £5 back – better than nothing.
