Barclays upgrade voucher date change to beyond voucher expiry

My upgrade voucher expires end of Apr 2024, if I book an outbound lets say LHR to JFK by end of Apr then request to change the outbound flight to a later date on payment of a change fee, would that work? Or would the upgrade voucher be considered expired if the outbound is changed beyond the validity date? Thanks!

I doubt it, or everyone would be doing it – I think most “changes” when it comes to these kind of tickets are actually “cancel and rebook”, in which case you wouldn’t be able to re-use the (expired) voucher.
