There are so many posts on spending abroad and maximising points for travel, but I have the opposite kind of question!
I need to be in London a couple of nights each week and will be looking for the lowest price rooms, think Travelodge and Premier Inn.So no loyalty to gain from them, so which card would give me the best rewards on UK hotel spending?

@DarrenSy I’m not aware of any cards that give special/extra points for travelodge/Premier inn stays. This would come under general spending. You can either use a cahsback card that gives higher cash back during a promotion period or use Barclays Avios that gives 1.5 points per £ spent.
As an aside a lot of of hilton/marriott/IHG offer similar and sometimes cheaper rates that travelodge etc. Look at Hilton spark for example.
If you’re going to be travelling to London and staying as above…
Think about cutting train fares via pre purchased LNER gift vouchers and credit card offers (I can see on my virgin) valid on all train companies and a ca$hback website for Travelodge…
I’m a real deal fiend and can add further if u need help…
What cards do you currently have?
Are you based in the UK?
The Virgin Atlantic /Virgin Money cards often have cashback offers for Premier Inn- Currently have 4% offer
Same for Barclays cashback rewards
For Travelodge use TCB
As stated above don’t discount other hotel chains, often very comparable /cheaper than Premier Inn/Travelodge
Although I am a big fan of Premier Inn, especially if you get a hotel that has Premier + room’s
