If you have Revolut Ultra than you can get 10 avios for every £1 buying on Apple. 10000 avios reduces the hurt a bit plus VAT refund for a business case

Presumably you declared this to Customs upon return to the country and paid the VAT like everyone else on this thread has to pay? If not, best not to advertise law breaking publicly.
Two things:
1) You need to say what memory size option you buy when talking iPhone prices for it to be a really useful data point
2) what @JDB said
Mozillion is also a good option. You can buy “as good as new”, with a full 12 month warranty (alongside the existing Apple warranty). Legit site and I bought another 16 pro max for £925 recently. Came with original box and 100 pc battery health. Was at most a week old.
I’m in need of an upgrade (the 80mph winds in the Cairngorms are going to cost me!)
As mentioned above, Costco most likely option. Take Amex and much cheaper.
Also worth a look at John Lewis who appear to be price matching Argos at the moment (JL also offering trade in I think)
And 2 years guarantee!

And miserable customer service. They have my phone for a second attempt at a repair which I very reluctantly said I would do despite wanting to make my final rejection of the item. If I’d bought it from Apple, I could have just gone into an Apple Store.
I have every expectation that they will fail to repair again and it’ll be MCOL but let’s see.
Anyway, JL customer service appears to have gone down the toilet, so caveat emptor.
Just a FYI Argos had the 1TB Apple iPhone 16 Pro for £1099. We managed to get John Lewis to price match it and went through the avios store for some points. I think they seem to come and go on the JL site but there may be one local to you at Argos for nectar points if JL don’t have it.
Thanks Meandthekids. That’s really useful. Please may I ask how did you go through the avios store to purchase the phone but also get the price match. I’d like to do the same.
I recently bought my iPhone 16 128GB in Costco Australia for AUD 1,145. Claimed the GST back on exit, bringing the total cost down to AUD 1,041.
Total spent £499 + VAT = £599 vs £799 for the same handset in the UK.

Really sorry i didn’t see this sooner. You buy it through the avios estore as you would any other transaction. The pricematch is completed afterwards by filling out the form on their website, so i guess the transaction for the avios store would track at £1099 afterwards.
Unfortunately i think the price on Argos has gone up now.
