Forums Other Destination advice Best Lounge in EZE Buenos Aires?

  • 69 posts

    Hi

We’re flying Club from Buenos Aires EZE. We’ve also got a AMEX Platinum.

Any advice on best lounge to go for, in my mind good drinks (particularly cocktails) and food makes a winner

    Advice appreciated.

    Thanks

I’m afraid there aren’t really any good lounges at EZE. BA will send you to the Admiral’s Club which is fairly tired, functional and usually rather busy by the time of the BA flight but is at least quite light. The Centurion lounge is huge with windows onto the concourse which looks out onto the apron/gates so makes it reasonably light also. It too is a little tired and the food and drink offering is relatively basic – eg salad bar and DIY sandwich facilities. There was a menu on a QR code which just referred to what was already out. You won’t find good cocktails in either lounge beyond spirits and mixers; wine better than you will get on board. The Centurion lounge seems remarkably busy, with large families and children.

It’s worth bearing in mind that although check-in and security at EZE are usually fairly quick, exit immigration can be very slow indeed.

Thanks very much, am. I right in thinking you prefer the Admirals, marginally?

There’s been a review of the lounges available on TLFL in the last day or two: https://www.turningleftforless.com/review-buenos-aires-airport-lounges-oneworld-star-alliance-priority-pass-and-centurion/

The Star Alliance lounge is also a possibility, but all 3 sound similar to what JDB says.

That’s a pretty difficult question! Would say it depends a bit on occupancy and nature of guests! If I had to express a preference, maybe Centurion.
