I’ve just returned from a night at the Brussels airport Sheraton where the Platinum welcome amenity was the choice between the usual 2,000 points or a rather nice box of Leonardis chocolates. Clearly the choccies wins.
We got a large jar tasty honey each time we’ve stayed at The Langley.
I was wondering what “nice” things other Marriott hotels are offering…?
In the Gulf I usually get a fruit platter, petit fours type cakes and a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly in a bucket as they have on file not to waste my time with wine I won’t drink. The best welcome amenities have been during non-branded Amex FHR stays though.
