Hi all, just wondering is there any best times to upgrade the amex that we have?
Not sure if gold or platinum is best or even maybe 1 of the barclaycards etc..
Thanks
Which card do you hold and which are you considering upgrading to. Barclaycard is not Amex, of course.
Sorry, should have been more clear
Me and the mrs have the normal blue american express credit card each
1 of us is thinking to upgrade to the next level or type available
What i meant of barclaycard is if the amex is not giving good avios etc. then maybe time to change card type as a friend of mine is getting 1.5 avios per £1 spend on his barclaycard
Chose the card that is best for you.
Yes your friend might be getting more avios than you but are they getting all of the cash back offers you are getting / going to get from AMEX?
Of course the biggest difference between the two is the 2-4-1 with amex but only the upgrade voucher from Barclays
