Happy Christmas. I have had this card for the last 2 years but no longer wish to use it. I paid the annual fee £195 in Nov and have 35000 membership reward points. When is the best time to cancel the card transfer points and avoid any extra card fees?Thank you
Today.
Fee is refunded pro-rata so basically every day you delay is another 50p or so spent.
However, you may want to factor in the airport lounge passes, when they would renew and when you would get around to using them if you kept the card.

Read a few articles above but put it simply if you want Avios and want to build up for business class then yes. If you want hotels stays in Marriot?!?, then no.
