I did try and search for this topic in the forums as I imagine its been asked before more than once however for some reason im not getting any results.
Anyway, Ive been silver for around 5 years now However im due to expire next month and be dropped down to bronze.
I first got silver status and kept it easily during the pre-pandemic wonder years of ridicously discounted Qatar ex-eu flights.
This was the easiest way of getting 90% of the way there.However obviously those days appear to be over.. at least for the medium term.
So what is regarded as the best way to reach silver now?
Wait until you are in your new TP collection year and then book two 5 night BA holidays to 80TP destinations such as Tenerife or Malta. You will get double TP points and get two holidays.
You will then have Silver for the remainder of your year plus the whole of the next one so potentially 23 months of Silver if you time it right
