Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Bicester Village offer stacking

  • 317 posts

    Now you can only earn Avios via your registered card at BA’s online shopping portal is there a way to stack earning opportunities? For example if collecting Avios automatically via BA can you also send your receipts to Bicester via the e-redemption service for another airline partner? Which other airlines are the most lucrative per £ spent?

    Any other ways to get further discounts whilst on the subject? Looks like Amex platinum members get a 10% vip discount card but I have the feeling many boutiques will have specific terms as everything is already discounted.

    Yeah the 10% for Platinum members isn’t off everything there are exclusions but it’s worth giving it anyway. Some stores give you more discounts by registering your email address and they will check before every transaction if you have a targetted offer.

    Amex have a 10% cashback offer running at the moment on most my cards.

    Bicester are offering triple avios until the end of August if you credit your purchases to Qatar.

    @Rob
    I have not seen this covered on any other blogs, hopefully this helps with your lean August news period.

    Have to say that the hands free shopping and VIP parking are a game changer. If you don’t have Platinum, you can pay separately, and I personally would stump up the cash.

    The 10% Platinum VIP discount is worth having. It doesn’t apply to sale items but does apply to outlet prices. About half the things I bought qualified last time. It stacks perfectly with credit card offers (Amex Virgin, etc) and BA eStore Avios awards.
