Forums Payment cards American Express Bicester Village Offer

Hi all. I recently used the “Get 10% back every time up to £100” offer on my Platinum card but having queried the absence of some credits, Amex told me the offer is cumulative 10% back up to a maximum of £100. Am i the only one who thinks this is highly misleading and should I press further on this? To me, “Get 10% back every time up to £100” means if I spend £1000 in a single transaction I get £100 back but equally if I blow £5k in Gucci I still only get £100 back which seems an entirely reasonable interpretation of the offer. The small print seems to reiterate my interpretation by saying you get a 10% statement credit when you spend any amount and this is valid every time up to £100. There have been other offers where this cumulative maximum has been clearly spelled out so I think this is very misleading. Any views much appreciated.
Before someone asks, yes the transactions were on the list of stores included in the offer.

The limit is £100 back. Not sure how much juice there is to squeeze.

The offer works as you say – 10% back each time up to a total max credit of £100 per card that the offer has been saved on. I made several small transactions, each posting 10% back, and on a final transaction I didn’t get quite 10% as I had reached the £100 threshold, so had a reduced credit for that transaction. I suggest you wait 90 days after the offer ends (so mid-October) and then raise a missing credit request if have met the requirements of the offer.
