I have noticed some really strange transactions coming through on Exec Club recently, and an email from Amex thanking me for using my Bicester Village offer – I’ve not been there in years though save the offers on the off chance.
I’ve matched up one of these transactions and it seems to have come from Rituals in T5. Has anyone else noticed any stores that are wrongly coded as Bicester but are somewhere else?
Sometimes happens when businesses have repairs undertaken to their POS equipment, or a spare is moved around to cover broken kit.
I think this has worked against me – Spent the £600 across about 5 different shops at Bicester to trigger £60 credit on my BAPP – looks like at least one of the stores has coded wrong so Amex think i havent spent the full £600. Annoying….
