Forums Payment cards American Express Biz Plat Amex Travel credit – when received?

Nowhere in the small print does it mention this but, upon going to book, it seems the credit isn’t applied until 3 days before the stay.

Is this actually the case? Or is there a chance it will credit as it should within 30 days?

Does it depend on whether the booking was paid in advance ?

I made a booking (prepaid) and the credit was applied a day later; when I needed to cancel the booking I enquired what the status of the credit would be – it wasnt rescinded; so effectivley £200 cash

It looks like AMEX travel and AMEX CC operate almost at arms length

I am still waiting for my credit. 40 days and still counting. I was told it’ll be between 30-60 days. At 60 days I will call in and complain.

My experience is that if if doesn’t credit within a couple of days it never credits without you chasing
