It was only recently that I became aware of airlines blocking seats etc., but I don’t know much about why or how. So: I’m flying LHR-BLL in Club Europe in a few days. The aircraft is A320, and according to Expertflyer the CE cabin consists of 4 rows. I would like an aisle seat, but according to the BA app, the only available seat is 4A. I’m in 2A. All the others are “occupied”. However, according to Expertflyer the only truly occupied seat is mine, 4A is available, and all the rest are blocked. Is this likely to change when check in opens? I need an aisle seat for medical reasons. Is there a way to make that happen, or do I just appeal to the flight attendants?
